One of the world's foremost experts in eye surgery, Dr. Assil continues to make significant advances in his field with numerous inventions and introductions of state-of-the-art technology.

Dr. Avneet K. Sodhi Gaur is a Board-Certified, Fellowship trained Cataract and Glaucoma Specialist, with training and experience developed at nationally renowned ophthalmic institutions, including Tufts Medical Center/New England Eye Center and Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston-Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary.

Fellowship trained Retina Specialist, Dr. Svetlana Pilyugina provides the highest level of retinal care in both Beverly Hills and Santa Monica. Dr. Svetlana Pilyugina is fluent in English, Spanish, and Russian and is known in the office as "Dr. P" by patients and our staff. She is board-certified and has exceptional credentials.

Dr. Adeleh Yarmohammadi (known as "Dr. Adele" by patients and our staff) is a California-trained ophthalmologist and board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She offers a variety of anterior segment surgeries, including cataract, glaucoma, LASIK, and facial aesthetic procedures.

Dr. Rafi Israel is a Board-Certified, Fellowship trained Ophthalmologist and the director of Oculoplastics at Assil Gaur Eye Institute.

Dr. May is an optometrist who has worked at the Assil Gaur Eye Institute for over a dozen years . He provides a broad range of care for patients including pre and post-surgical management, comprehensive eye exams, urgent care as well as dry eye consultation and therapy. 

He also has assisted with numerous FDA supervised clinical trials and continuing education events.

Dr. Harris provides comprehensive eye care examinations, treatment, and management of ocular diseases, as well as pre and post operative care for cataracts, LASIK, and corneal transplants.

She specifically works with Dr. Assil in preparing pre-surgical plans for all of his intraocular lens procedures.

Dr. Zokaeim specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of general eye disease, as well as preoperative management of cataract & refractive surgery procedures.

Dr. Z participates as a volunteer for OneSight and Angels for Sight, providing eye care for underprivileged populations. 

Dr. Natalie Sarukhanian is a Los Angeles-trained eye care specialist dedicating her time and expertise to improving the vision of all patients.

The AGEI Education Team is led by Dr. Kerry Assil, Dr. Avneet K. Sodhi Gaur, Dr. Svetlana Pilyugina, and Dr. Adeleh Yarmohammadi.
