I have ehlers danlos. It took this experience of having a very difficult time with local novocaine to call my doctor, Claire Francomano who is a globally recognized expert in EDS at IUHP previously NIH. She advised that her research is showing that patients with both EDS and HPP such as myself often need 2 to 4x the local anesthetic of non eds hpp patients. I was a mess as it was very painful. Both the doctor and Aron (sry if I misrember any names) were incredibly patient with me in a situation that otherwise would not have made sense as I was in pain until they administered 4x the regular local anesthetic. I am so deeply grateful to their handling of the situation, and also the fact that they had rearranged their schedule to get me in. Both the dr and Aron are some of the most kind and thoughtful health practitioners I have dealt with thanks so much with helping me through a tough procedure for me you are amazing. This practice truly cares. After the procedure they also went above and beyond when there was a minor glitch in ordering my antibiotics post surgery. The doctor again helped me with a rural pharmacy. Super amazing staff and care thank you so much!!

Some of the treatments are a bit expensive and not covered by insurance but are effective so I continue to pay out of pocket for these treatments. Otherwise I think Dr. Z is great, informative, and effective. She has helped my dry eyes get better.
