It’s not the fault of the medical group- but it’s just so expensive to get treatment for this when it is a medical treatment for serious dry eye. If I don’t do it- I get ocular migraines and clouded vision. But costs make it harder to get regular treatment.

I am also so impressed with the support and administrative staff at the center. They called to provide reminders, reschedule appointments and support billing. It would be helpful to have more detailed post-op follow-up instructions for blepharoplasty surgery. Healing time; scarring; Rx or other treatment for scarring; length of time to use each of the eyedrops.

Billing is inadequate. Was charged for a proxy that did not take place. Efforts to resolve took 2 phone calls and a letter. Have been sent an invoice with NO services breakdown for understanding.

I want to thank everyone who tried to help me with securing my prescription for corneal abrasion. For some reason my pharmacy did not receive the prescription no matter how many times staff from the answering service to office staff and ultimately to Dr “Z” who had to call the pharmacist.. I am so grateful to all!

My only critique is that no one explained the correct way for me to apply the ointment to my eyes. I mistakenly put it on the outside of my eyelid for the first week.
But Dr. Adele was super available via text for any questions I had, and that was wonderful.
I was also happy that there was little to no bruising afterward and I only looked (to quote a friend) "like a drag queen who didn't know how to put on her makeup." 🙂

My only request for improvement is that the office would run at least close to on time. I have waited close to an hour on several occasions to be seen. The care is great, the waiting is not.

The time in the waiting room is often up to 30 minutes. That is tough with missing work. I also wish insurance covered more. But, I'm sure that is not within your control.

I felt that we spent a lot of time throwing everything at the eye. I was a bit thrown that after all my visits all the drops all the contact lenses months of trying everything that finally it was decided I should see Dr. Assil
I have mentioned at every single visit that I am having trouble seeing and would like a prescription as my job depends on my vision and repeat i was given a new drop, a new protocol and nothing really worked. I appreciated everyone trying but I think I should have seen Dr. Assil months ago.

After my visit I had a question about my medication. I called on Monday, the next business day and asked to speak to Dr Z. I was told that she would not be in the office until Thursday. So I explained my question to the person on the phone and they said that either they or Dr Z would get back to me with an answer. It’s now a week later and still nobody has called me. This is not the first time I’ve had problems getting calls returned. I definitely think this is an area where you could improve.
At this time I still have a question about my medication and I need it answered soon because the medication is running out.
