    I am about 1 month post surgery, and am very happy about the outcome. Dr. Assil and his staff are very pleasant, professional and caring. Their facilities are beautiful, convenient for all, and they never keep you in waiting room for more than 5 minutes or so. I normally do not write reviews, but I feel this will help you choose the best doctor that you can trust

    On my last visit, to check my eyes concerning the procedure that I had had two weeks prior, I waited 45 minutes to be taken to a room. I was given various “tests”. A second person almost gave me the same test the first person gave me —until I said something. Were they trying to stretch the time because the doctor wasn’t ready for me? When the doctor finally came in, he saw me for less than 3 minutes. I left almost 2 hours after I arrived.
    I would have been satisfied after the first person (or second) “tested” me and said I was doing fine, and I don’t care if the doctor doesn’t need spend any time with me. I don’t think of myself as a complainer, but I feel like my time was wasted and it threw off the rest of my day.

    I would suggest you tell patients that they should have a driver to transport them after a procedure as it is difficult to drive

    It is with sincere appreciation that I that I add this comment. I have been so impressed and professionally and personally cared for by the staff and all of the medical professionals. But, most of all, I am forever grateful for Dr. Assil's ability to provide a 100% success in both of my eyes post operatively. There is work to be done with my left eye, but Dr. Assil has placed me in the care of Dr. Shirin Yousefi to assist with a better vision in the left. Thank you, thank you to a fine, caring, professional group at the Assil Gaur Eye Institute.
