The wait between seeing the doctor and having been screened by the technician is often long. I wish that something could be done, maybe the actual time to start the appointment could less so that the wait to get started would be less too.

The Assil Gaur Eye Institute employs the best eye physicians in Southern California, and, in fact, all of California, as far as I am concerned. I have been going to them for my eye examinations, etc., for approximately 20 years. I will not go anywhere else for the health of my eyes!

It's always a pleasure to interact with the staff at Assil Eye Clinic. I have full confidence in the high quality of care I get there. Dr. Gaur is a delight. And the music is perfect; that's probably not a comment you get often, or ever, but it's true.

My recent appointment was a medical emergency (i.e., suspected detached retina). I was able to schedule a same day appointment within a few hours of my calling. Dr. Gaur and the team very efficiently ran the tests and confirmed the diagnosis that it was indeed a detached retina. She then arranged for me to see a retina specialist surgeon that very same afternoon. Thankfully, he was able to perform the necessary surgery that day. Due to the early detection and intervention, the surgery was less involved than had there been delays, the prognosis was better. and the recovery time was also much shorter than it might have been. Kudos to Dr. Gaur and Assil Gaur Eye Institute!
