I had my LASIK eye surgery at Assil Eye Institute about 3 weeks ago. I was super nervous as my prescription was quite high (minus 7), but the Doctors and staff here made me feel more comfortable and at ease by being very thorough from the initial consult, to the surgery day prep, to my post-op care and answered all my questions. My vision is still slowly recovering, but I'm grateful that I have the whole staff at Assil Eye Institute by my side as I'm going through this life-changing process. Thank you Dr. Adeleh, Dr. Assil, Dr. Harris, Carlos, Diane and everyone else!

I absolutely loved my experience and love my vision. I got lasik in Feb 2020 right before finishing nursing school. I am so happy to be able to go to work without glasses and ride my bike without worrying about my contact popping out. And soon to be a mother waking up at all hours taking care of baby. Now going towards three years after my surgery I use eye drops once or twice a week. Usually when its dry or I travel somewhere dry. I love my eyes and I am so happy with my vision. I am so grateful for Dr. Assil and his expertise as a top surgeon.

I have been going to Assil Eye Institute for years. The quality of eye care is excellent with very knowledgeable doctors and staff. Also the customer service level is very high. Led by the amazing Kerry Assil this group is absolutely the best. My wife had LASIK surgery and I had lens replacement surgery in 2018. I haven't had vision this acute in 60 years. And no diminution since.

Aaron Redman is a dream. He's arguable one of the kindest humans I've ever known. I also cannot say enough about Dr. May. He invests time in getting to know me as a person, not just a patient. These folks are simply the best. Dr. Gaur is tops in her field anywhere with glaucoma (she's fixed both of my eyes) and Dr. Pilyugina removed a membrane inside an eye that restored my focus and clarity. Together they diagnosed the problems immediately and corrected them swiftly. They and the entire staff have terrific bedside manners. One more thing: Dr. Assil personally took an interest in a vision-threatening problem suffered by one of my sister-in-laws. Her doctors had told her there was nothing more they could do to restore her vision. Dr. Assil saw that as a challenge and dove into the problem. After a few months, she regained full use of the eye.

Dr. Pilyugina and all the technicians and staff were excellent! In addition my husband and I were made to feel welcome, and no one ever made us feel that they were too busy to answer questions. It was a very positive experience.

I was pleasantly surprised but such a nice and helpful staff, and a doctor that spends time with you and talks to you. That is extremely rare to see a doctor for more than 2 minutes typically. So thank you for a pleasant experience.
