Led by the amazing Kerry Assil this group is absolutely the best. My wife had LASIK surgery and I had lens replacement surgery in 2018. I haven't had vision this acute in 60 years. And no diminution since.

Dr. May and the entire staff at Assil Eye institute are AWESOME. Dr. May always answers all my questions and gives me peace of mind that my eye care is in the best of hands. I felt that with Dr. Assil's amazing surgical skill and Dr. May's follow up care, I have won the 'Eye Care' lottery ; ). Aaron Redman is a dream. He's arguable one of the kindest humans I've ever known. I also cannot say enough about Dr. May. He invests time in getting to know me as a person, not just a patient. Dr. P and Dr. Assil are also both wonderful. I've been coming to the Assil Institute for over ten years and rely on their indestructible kindness, support, and experience.

These folks are simply the best. Dr. Gaur is tops in her field anywhere with glaucoma (she's fixed both of my eyes) and Dr. Pilyugina removed a membrane inside an eye that restored my focus and clarity. Together they diagnosed the problems immediately and corrected them swiftly. They and the entire staff have terrific bedside manners. One more thing: Dr. Assil personally took an interest in a vision-threatening problem suffered by one of my sister-in-laws. Her doctors had told her there was nothing more they could do to restore her vision. Dr. Assil saw that as a challenge and dove into the problem. After a few months, she regained full use of the eye.

Dr. Pilyugina and all the technicians and staff were excellent! In addition my husband and I were made to feel welcome, and no one ever made us feel that they were too busy to answer questions. It was a very positive experience.

I was pleasantly surprised but such a nice and helpful staff, and a doctor that spends time with you and talks to you. That is extremely rare to see a doctor for more than 2 minutes typically. So thank you for a pleasant experience.

My wife has been an Assil patient for over 15 years and absolutely loves them! I started as a patient about two months ago and it hurts me to agree with my wife but YES ASSIL is amazing. From their reception to their techs to their Doctors, they are all amazing. They care treat you like a VIP and explain everything to you in simple understandable terminology.

Everything about Assil Gaur Eye Institute is a class act. First, let me commend the skill and expertise of Dr.Assil. I had had RK in the 80’s and now was in need of cataract surgery. Jules Stein Eye Institute said I was not a candidate for multi focal lenses and could only opt for mono focal and dependence on glasses. Feeling very discouraged, I immediately started researching the issue and I found Dr.Assil - one of the few surgeons nationwide with the skill and experience to handle multi focal lenses post RK.

Of course, I now had a NO from Jules Stein Eye Institute and a YES from Dr.Assil so I needed a third opinion to make a truly informed decision. That’s when I was referred to Dr. Nadji who said that while he personally did not have the experience to give me multi focal lenses, he knew Dr. Assil was THE CHOICE to make. And a great choice it has been.

The whole process was pain free and I am seeing both near and far just great - no glasses needed here!
In addition to being gifted as a surgeon, Dr. Assil is extremely warm and personable and you know he listens and cares.

In all, whatever your eye issue may be, do be certain you consult with Dr. Kerry Assil for a top of the line opinion and the best treatment available anywhere!
