I can't begin to express how life-changing my experience with Dr. Kerry Assil has been. After years of constantly searching for my glasses and struggling with poor vision, I finally decided to undergo refractive lens exchange with Dr. Assil, and it has completely transformed my life.
As a surgeon, I always had to rely on glasses at the end of my cases to close tiny incisions. I would often need to ask the nurse to look for my glasses from my bag and place them on my face so I could continue. Now, thanks to Dr. Assil, I no longer need glasses at all. This has been a huge relief and a game-changer in both my professional and personal life.
From my initial consultation to the post-surgery follow-up, Dr. Assil and his team were exceptional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly dedicated to providing the best possible care. The procedure itself was smooth, and I felt at ease every step of the way.
Now, I can read everything clearly, from fine print to road signs in the distance, without any need for glasses. It’s a feeling of freedom I never thought possible, and I am so grateful to Dr. Assil for his expertise and precision.

I'm very thankful for the way my eyes turned out. Still have somewhat blurry vision at times but I've been told that that will clear up after a while.
Overall I'm very satisfied except with one pre-op nurse before my first surgery but I already addressed that issue in a previous feedback. I definitely would recommend Dr. Assil to anybody needing this kind of surgery!

All aspects of LASIK treatment went smoothly and every person I interacted with was wonderful, kind, and helpful. Many thanks to Dr. Gaur for her positive and reassuring bedside manner during the operation, she calmed my nerves and made the process very comfortable. Also healing has been smooth and gone exactly as they’d informed me. I’d heard Assil Gaur Institute was the best, and after my treatment I’d recommend them to anyone seeking LASIK treatment.

I had cataract surgery with Dr. Gaur and her team and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Everything was explained well from the beginning through the entire process and follow up. There were no surprises. In addition, I had an additional procedure in hopes of preventing glaucoma. And 9 months after my eye pressure is perfect. So it seems to have been helpful based on my eye pressure prior to the procedure. Dr Gaur has worked in conjunction with my current optomitrist so procedures aren't duplicated. I still wear progressive glasses for work for reading fine print but my distance vision is 20/20 and no bluriness. I would highly recommend Dr. Gaur to family and friends if they needed her expertise.

Dr. Assil was recommended to me by a physician in Santa Barbara. He performed surgery on my eyes and I had no pain or any difficulty at all post surgery. Dr. P is a retina specialist and she is kind and caring. They both are great communicators. Highly recommend this office ! LB

Spacious, clean, short wait times, friendly & efficient staff. Highly recommend! Told Dr Zakheim how grateful I am for sending me there, I had an eye Dr in Manhattan Beach who told me nothing could be done to improve my vision after the one YAG I had performed.
Full self serve coffee bar, lovely, comfortable lobby.
A bit tough to find the first visit but that is my only non stellar thing to say and that's just living in LA
